Imagine Missions is a group of volunteers from all walks of life with a common goal, to help people in need and to show them the love of Christ.
We are involved with the impoverished country of Haiti. During our first trip to Haiti we saw much of the need that is in this beautiful, yet hurting country. Also, during that trip, we sang and worshiped at churches, did prison outreaches and were introduced to a children's home in Despinos, Haiti. Our hearts went out to the children of this children's home as we spent much of the week with them. During that time a bond was developed that will never be broken.
Shortly after our arrival back to the United States, many of us agreed that something must be done at this children's home to improve the quality of life for these children.
As a result, Imagine Missions was formed in February 2009. In January 2011, the LOCC Children's Home was signed over to Imagine Missions. The 126children are now depending on us for food, eduacation, and everyday care. Only through the help of donations and volunteers, is this possible.
Imagine Missions also has a full time missionary living at the children's home, Melissa Young. Melissa, a former school teacher in Ohio, has made it her goal to improve life for these wonderful kids. Now, through child sponsorship, higher education, improved diet, facility maintenance and on site construction. Life is looking better for these children.
With your help we can continue to provide these children their basic needs and continue to show them the love of our Lord, Jesus Christ.
